Success for Monifieth High School netball team

Monifieth High schools recently formed netball team has already reached the silver stages in the Scottish Schools' Netball League. The dedicated S1 pupils train every Friday with coach Miss Sturrock and have already faced tough local competition in their games with Balwearie High School, Madras College and the High School of Dundee. The players are currently training hard for their game against Hawick High School on January 22 which will decide if they will play in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup. Teacher, Miss Sturrock says that the girls are all very dedicated and are making very good progress in the sport.
