Upgrade for Guide HQ

Arbroath Friends of Guiding recently received funding to install new windows at their headquarters in Ogilvy Place. Grants were provided by Angus Councils Community Grant scheme, Arbroath Improvement Trust, Colin Grant Charitable Trust and the William Coull Anderson Trust. A spokesperson for the Friends of Guiding said: Funding of this kind is most gratefully received by the committee and on this occasion allowed the full window replacement programme which has enhanced the building. A future project for our group is to commence a major reharling of Guide Headquarters. Our picture shows members of 1st Arbroath Rainbows enjoying ice cream al fresco and admiring the new windows with leaders Pamela Ramsay, Lisa Thomson and Rebecca Ramsay. The Rainbows, girls aged five to seven, meet every Thursday between 6 and 7 p.m., for details call Pamela on 07943620185.
