VIDEO: Kids are round for ‘tee’

Waiting for Video...

The brand new junior golf course at Carnoustie was fittingly driven in this afternoon (Friday) by children involved in the project.

Three primary seven classes were at the new course earlier today for the official opening of the course, and two members from each class ‘drove in’ the first hole.

There were two classes from Carlogie, P7A who won the naming competition with their entry ‘The Craws Nest’ and P7B who won the design aspect with their entry ‘Landmark Fairway’, also present was Burnside P7 who came a very close second in the design with ‘JR 6’.

Our video shows the youngsters teeing off to officially open the course which is hoped will help the development of youth golf in Carnoustie.
