Looking for Annie

ASPIRING Angus thespians might be interested in a forthcoming production in Dundee.

The casting committee of Dundee Operatic Society are on the hunt for youngsters to play Annie and her orphans in their March 2013 production of ‘Annie’ the musical.

Among the roles needed to be filled is the eponymous Annie, along with her orphan pals Molly, Pepper and July.

A song and dance workshop followed by an afternoon audition session has been announced for tomorrow (Saturday) beginning at 10 a.m. in the Society’s rehearsal venue, St Mary Magdalene’s Church Halls, Dudhope Crescent Road, Dundee.

Girls aged eight to 14, with or without stage experience are invited to the auditions and should register for the workshop and audition by emailing their interest to joannashepher@hotmail.co.uk who can also provide all relevant details.

The Society would also welcome new adult members at their Tuesday evening rehearsals.
