CARNOUSTIE Musical Society has been putting the finishing touches to their preparations for their forthcoming cabaret.
On Sunday, the company could be seen putting heart and soul into the colourful big finish for their Comrie Cabaret, which begins on Monday.
Producer Rodger Brunton described their Abba finale. He said: “All the well-known songs are there, Waterloo, Money Money Money and of course, Mamma Mia.
“It’s been great learning them all over again with harmony. It will be a great finale, all toe-tapping stuff.”
The Comrie Cabaret will run from 7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday at the Comrie Hall on Links Avenue.
Some tickets are still available and can be bought from the Fobel Shop in Carnoustie.
Rodger urged people to get their tickets soon and avoid disappointment. He said: “We hope by running an extra night we won’t disappoint those who couldn’t get tickets last year.
“There’s a limited number of seats in the hall and we actually had to turn away people last year.
“That’s almost unheard of for an amateur show these days.”
Apart from Mamma Mia, this year’s Comrie Cabaret will feature music from Hairspray, Half a Six Pence, Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls, Annie and there will also be some special cameo performances.
