POPULAR Scottish tenor and BBC presenter Jamie MacDougall embarks on his first solo tour of Scotland this month.
He will be performing the length and breadth of the country with his show ‘Jamie MacDougall sings the Kenneth McKellar songbook’.
He is at the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath, on Wednesday, October 5, at 7.30 p.m. Tickets priced £12 and £10 (concession) are available from the theatre box office on 01241 435800 or online at www.webstertheatre.co.uk
Jamie will perform many of the songs, arias and ballads that inspired him, from Handel arias to the folk songs of Robert Burns, from the songs of Vienna to songs of the Hebrides – and of course, his own famous compositions such as The Tartan. He will also tell many of the stories that McKellar shared with him over the years.
