A Monifieth crowd-pleaser is returning this summer but in a new location and with a revamp to make it better than ever.
The Monifieth Medieval Fair and Gala Week will take place on Sunday, June 21, between 12.30 and 4pm at the new venue of Riverside Park. Entry as always is free and the organisers have promised plenty of activities and spectacles to entertain.
There will be medieval battle re-enactments, bird of prey displays, a beer tent, food and craft stalls, live music, dance displays, a pipe band, mini carnival and street entertainers.
In the run up to the Medieval Fair there will also be activities for young and old, including a junior seven-a-side football tournament, pool and domino competitions, karaoke and live music. Details for these will follow in due course.
