Monifieth Resource Group meeting

THE MONIFIETH Community Resource Group is inviting residents, represenatives of groups and organisations to attend a meeting in Monifieth Community Cabin at 6.30 p.m. on Monday (April 23).

The group was formerly known as the Monifieth Community Centre Steering Group, the name change being a requirement to meet the regulations necessary for the provision of a multi-purpose building as opposed to a community centre.

This meeting is being convened in order that the results of questionnaires and surveys can be made public. Also to be revealed are the proposals and recommendations regarding a Monifieth Community Resource.

Representatives of AIM Design, Iridescence Business Consultancy and Angus Community Planning Team will also be in attendance.

The fund-raising bingo evening on Saturday, April 14, raised £138 towards MCRG funds. Thanks were extended to everyone who supported the event.

New snack in a pot!

CLEMENTINE’S of Broughty Ferry will tomorrow (Saturday) offer their customers the opportunity to sample a brand new snack in a pot, produced by Blairgowrie’s leading fruit growers Thomas Thomson.

Thomson experts will be on hand to talk about the product, how it’s made and its many health benefits. At the end of the day there will be one lucky winner of a case of 12!

BerryB is a very berry snack bursting with no less than 46 Scottish berries. From the berry fields of Blairgowrie, Thomas Thomson has brought all the natural energy and goodness of five different juicy berries squeezed into a convenient pot.
