A group of friends have put together a charity dance music event to raise funds and increase cancer awareness in Carnoustie.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “We are doing a charity fund-raiser event for a friend and it will raise money for Ward 34 in Ninewells. “It’s called Club Soda Presents Pauline Webster’s Neon Party and it will be on August 9 in Allstars bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and all proceeds will go to Ward 34. Pauline Webster has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and we want to raise awareness of the disease and raise some money at the same time.
“It’s going to be a neon party so it will be old school house music, but all other types of dance music too.”
Entry to the event is free and donations will be taken by collection buckets throughout the bar. Music will be provided on the night by Davie G., John Mac, Mr Sheen, pickles, b2b, Ian Rose and special guests.
