Letham Grange Golf Club has appointed Ross Nicholson as golf operations manager with immediate effect.
He was welcomed aboard by current club captain Malcolm Turner and will replace the golf operations team of Ian Christine, Terry Cruickshank and Brian Youngson who are stepping down after four years running the club with the support of previous captain Gardiner Arthur and the committee.
Despite the ongoing issues regarding the ownership of the hotel and estate the golf club have gone from strength to strength taking on the running of the club and both the challenging Old Course and more forgiving Glens course.
Great support from members has meant that membership has remained strong over the four years actually increasing year on year.
Guests and visitors have consistently been impressed with the courses and it is a popular venue for outings.
This support has meant that the committee have been able to keep membership prices the same for season 2015 at £350 which gives access to both courses seven days a week, competitions and handicap privileges. Glens only course is £280.
As of March 21, catering will also be reintroduced with breakfast, snack and bar meals available weekends and at busy times.
