Offers for Jolly’s Hotel

JOLLY’S Hotel in Gray Street, Broughty Ferry, has attracted interest and re-opening has moved a step closer.

The facility closed after going into administration last October when 30 staff lost their jobs.

However, the selling agents, Christies, revealed that a number of parties are interested and a offers have already been received.

A spokesman said that no offer has been accepted yet and discussions are being held about which one to go with.

At the end of this month they will hopefully be able to put in a recommendation after which the administrator should be in a position to accept an offer.

Some of those interested in the hotel already have establishments in the city and know that businesses in Broughty Ferry make money.

Others are regional operators who believe they can run a successful business in the Ferry.
