More images from the Northern Lights display over Angus have been sent in.
John Bell sent an image in of the aurora borealis over Balgavies Loch, taken on Wednesday night.
The other image has been sent in by Mick Walton, with his picture taken from just outside Redford village on Thursday night. He said: “Unfortunately it was rather windy last night but with the help of a small piece of railway line attached to the bottom of my Tripod I managed to get plenty of images. The photos (no processing) were taken between 10.30pm and midnight and all using my Canon camera with a wide angle lens.”
Discussing the array of colours that he captured, Mick added: “Normally the blue and red is only seen with camera equipment but last night the red upper section was easily seen with the naked eye.”
