Nurse retires after 45 years

A WELL-KNOWN Carnoustie nurse retired from her post at Arbroath Infirmary before Christmas.

Christine Dodds, who lives in the town started her nursing training at Dundee Royal Infirmary in 1967.

She spent many years living in South Africa before returning to work at Arbroath Infirmary in 1980.

She had several jobs in various wards before taking up her final nursing post in the outpatients’ department.

She is picture with fellow nurse Ann Cuthill, who also retired before Christmas along with their former work colleagues.
