Old graveyard opening

THE NEW gate is on, the information boards are up, the keys are with the Ship Inn (£10 returnable deposit) so now anyone who wants to can visit the old graveyard in Fisher Street, Broughty Ferry.

A spokesperson for Broughty Ferry Development Trust told the Guide & Gazette: “This has taken far longer than first expected but now we are definitely up and running.”

The official opening will take place on Thursday, August 16, at 3 p.m. and will be carried out by Charlie Webster, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Dundee. The company will then transfer to the Ship Inn for the official handing over of the keys.
