Cub Scouts from South Angus District took part in an Olympic-themed camp at Ladenford Den last weekend.
The cubs, from Newtyle, Muirhead, Newbigging and Carnoustie, split into six countries and competed throughout the weekend in various competitions, scouting tasks and athletics events.
The camp opened with a scouting Olympic torch style campfire, the torch shooting flames high into the sky to the delight of the cubs.
Olympic-themed bases followed on Saturday including gymnastics, orienteering and archery, along with global issues and crafts.
After a game involving a travel agency and passport control the Cubs retired to their tents exhausted.
Sunday saw the Olympians compete in the arena for their athletics badge. Japan was the gold medalist for the camp but all the Cubs were winners and received medals at the closing ceremony.
