THE PRIMARY One pupils at Carnoustie’s Burnside School shared the story of ‘Whoops-a-Daisy Angel’ with parents, family and friends on Tuesday evening.

In front of a packed house, the children sang and acted superbly as they related the story of the little angel who was always late, always untidy and who couldn’t do anything right until she was given a very important job.

They then got everyone singing with some super Christmas songs.

Headteacher Mrs Dawn Hendry proposed a comprehensive vote of thanks to all the children for their fantastic show, and to the teachers and helpers for the huge amount of work that had gone into putting on the production.

All proceeds from the show are going towards the Save the Children Christmas appeal.
