AN ANGUS parent and baby cafe will be reopening next week.
As part of the Angus Community Health Partnership’s Healthy Happy Communities Project, the Brechin Healthy Start Cafe will welcome mums and babies again from Thursday.
The project will be held in the Cathedral Hall between 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. every Thursday.
The aim is to provide a comfortable, relaxed and informal space for expectant mums and parents with babies to come together and discuss their experiences.
The cafe will also provide healthy snacks and over the coming weeks a series of planned activities and health and lifestyle discussion topics.
Rachel MacFarlane, Healthy Happy Communities project worker said: “The café is a great way for mums to get together and relax.
“We are also looking for volunteers to help run the café and to help with babies while parents participate in activities so if anyone has a couple of hours free and would be interested in supporting this group I would really like to hear from them.”
If you would like more information or would like to volunteer please call Rachel MacFarlane on 01307 474147 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
