From casual helpers to leaders, trainers, trustees and more, there is a role for everyone, with voluntary roles offered on a flexible basis.

All eight groups in North Angus are seeking support, but Edzell is one of two which are more desperate for help, the other being in Letham.

Prior experience of scouting is not required with opportunities open to people of all ages, genders, races and backgrounds. These can be in the form of tea makers, tidy-uppers and skill sharers, minibus drivers and first aiders, students who want to boost their CVs, and parents who volunteer so they can spend more time together as a family.

Whatever the skillset, volunteers can lend a hand for as little or as much time as they can spare, and we promise you’ll get more out than you put in.

All adult volunteers should be over the age of 18, and there is no upper age limit. All will receive a full induction and ongoing training and support.
