Officers in Arbroath are appealing for information to trace a 34-year-old man missing from the town.

Michael Nicoll was last seen at Tesco in Arbroath around at around 5.30pm on Monday, May 2 and police have said that concerns are growing for his welfare.

He is described as about 5ft 11-6ft tall, of average build with short brown hair and when last seen he was wearing a maroon top, blue jeans and grey trainers. He wears glasses.

Inspector Martin Jenkins said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Michael or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch with Police. There are concerns for his welfare.

“We urge anyone with any information get in touch with us, and Michael if you see this, please let us know you are okay.”
