Pub supports the Dream

A CARNOUSTIE pub recently made a donation to a local cause following two very successful fund-raisers.

The Craws Nest in Carnoustie has given it’s full support to the cause of local girl Brooke Ramsay (7) who suffers from cerebral palsy.

A musical night at the beginning of the month with ‘The Directors’ and a prize bingo evening on November 25, plus money from the pub’s own lottery bonus ball draw netted £335 for Brooke’s Dream.

The family are still hoping to receive NHS backing for a selective dorsal rhizotmy operation to correct the spasticity in her legs, and which will allow them to concentrate on raising money for physiotherapy and other after-care treatments.
