The Station Masters Golf Club held their annual dinner and presentation of awards in the Station Hotel last Friday evening.

Winner of this season’s Club Championship, David Morton, became the first ever member to retain the Arthur Christieson trophy, having seen-off former handicap champion Norman Reid in a closely fought final.

Other major prize-winners this year were Ian Burnett, handicap champion and winner of the Dave McNicoll Trophy for the third time; Brian Morton and David Morton, fourball (Enfield Trophy), foursomes (Dunbar Cup) and greensomes; Dave Meek, senior champion (Country Members Cup). The Winter Trophy was picked up by Stewart Hunter and Andy Gilbride won the Kiwi Shield.
