Local people are being advised that essential repair work will start at Carnoustie Recycling Centre on Monday (8 July).
During the works to replace part of the concrete surface, there will be limited capacity at the site.
There will be two skips available to the public - one for general and one for garden waste. There will be no skips for recycling wood or extra garden waste.
With less capacity to hold materials this means that the skips will have to be serviced more often, resulting in more temporary closures of the site.
The work will take about four weeks to complete.
The council apologises to customers for any inconvenience and asks that customers consider using alternative nearby recycling centres, such as Arbroath, if possible.
