Remember your wellies!

The final touches to the arrangements for the Arbroath Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild Welly Walk tomorrow (Saturday) were put in place at their meeting on Monday.

It is hoped that the weather will be fair and there will be no need to don the wellies for the walk said Barbara Cargill (President). The RNLI Fun Day starts at the Lifeboat Shed at 11 a.m. with the walk starting at 1 p.m. If you want to take part in this inaugural event please remember to arrive early to Register. Registration will be open in the Inshore Lifeboat Shed from 11.30 a.m. and costs £3 for adults 16 years of age and over with children under 16 going free.

The Arbroath RNLI Shop will be open all day Saturday and from 1 – 3 p.m. on the Sunday and Monday of the Bank Holiday. The AGM tickets, priced at £2 each are now available from any member of the Ladies’ Guild and the RNLI Shop, this is to be held on the May 15, in the Royal British Legion Halls, Helen Street starting at 2 p.m. Afternoon Tea will be served with guest speaker Eric Buick.
