SANTA Claus made his first appearance in Arbroath’s Abbeygate Centre on Saturday, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Arbroath.

He was extremely popular with children and adults alike, and the club is delighted to announce that on Saturday alone, £608 was raised which will go towards Polioplus and Shelter Box charities.

Santa will be in the Abbeygate again tomorrow (Saturday, December 15) and December 22, from 11 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. and from 1.30 to 4 p.m., as well as 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 23.

A visit to Santa with a present costs £3 with only an extra £1 if parents and carers wish their child to have their picture taken with Santa.
