Santa will visit Carnoustie tomorrow

FOR CARNOUSTIE, the local charity set up for and by the people of the town, is pleased to announce that Father Christmas is so delighted with everyone in the burgh who have made this past year so special that he will take time out to visit the High Street tomorrow (Saturday).

He will be giving out sweeties for the children young and old with the help of his friendly elves.

He is also hoping to bring a very special guest, so make sure that you are on the High Street by the Cross at 12 to welcome Santa and his helpers!

Baby signing classes

SIGNS and Rhymes are bringing their hugely popular baby signing classes to Broughty Ferry from January.

The group will be holding a free trial class at 10 a.m. on January 7 at the YMCA on Brook Street.

Baby signing allows parents to communicate with their baby before speech develops.

It is a simple and effective concept which encourages baby’s natural tendency to use gestures such as waving and clapping with simple key signs as they first learn to communicate.
