CARNOUSTIE Scout Group celebrated Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with a trip to the Landmark Forest Adventure Park in Carrbridge.

In suitably decorated coaches the 100 or so Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and leaders travelled up the A9 to spend the day at the adventure park.

Everyone enjoyed the roller coaster runaway mine train, saw the tradional saw mill and then climbed to the top of the wooden fire watch tower.

In the afternoon the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had the opportunity to take part in the tree top trail, high ropes tarzan trail and the sky dive.

Adventure land and the ant city play area were a big hit with all the youngsters. After going around the maze everyone finished off having several goes on the wild water coaster.

After a stop for chips in Pitlochry on the way home the group arrived back in Carnoustie having had a great adventure.
