FEELING there was a lack of Christmas cheer in the festive charts, three Carnoustie men have decided to take the charts by storm by writing and releasing a Christmas song.

Graeme Waggott, Irvine Murison and Donnie Duncan have been involved with recording the music for Carnoustie Theatre Club’s panto for many years and this year have taken it upon themselves to put the fun back into the festive top 40.

Having written the song, which is featuring in the Theatre Club’s panto ‘Beauty and The Beast’, they decided to go one step further and record the song for charity.

Graeme, better known as Radio Tay’s ‘Waggy’, asked the Tay AM and Tay FM presenters if they would lend their vocal talents and all proceeds from the single will go to Cash For Kids.

The song has the festive title, ‘Christmas Time Again’ and is being released under the name Christmas for Kids. The single had its UK airplay debut on Tay AM and Tay FM on Thursday and is available to download on Amazon and iTunes.

A limited number of CDs are also available to buy at Asda, Milton of Craigie, Dundee.
