Carnoustie Camera Club has arranged a photography competition in conjunction with the Carnoustie Gala.

Entries are invited from young people up to the age of 25 and living within Angus and the closing date is June 30.

The competition requirements are as follows:

One print may be submitted per entrant of a shot taken within Angus. Each print to be up to A4 size and uncounted.

A label showing title of picture, entrant’s name, address, telephone number and date of birth to be attached to the back of the print.

Entries should be sent, or handed in, to Panmure Centre, 141 Kinloch Street, Carnoustie, DD7 7JP.

The centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm. Mark envelope ‘Photography Competition’.

The winner will be contacted prior to Gala Day on July 4 and that print plus commended pictures will be displayed at the Carnoustie Camera Club gazebo on Gala Day.

There is no entry fee and the winner will be presented with a trophy, suitably inscribed, to be held for one year.

The presentation ceremony will take place later in the year.
