Angus Council is considering undertaking speed reduction measures at a road in Monifieth.
The council is consulting with residents in Durham Street about plans to introduce road humps to cut speeds.
This follows a recent survey of all the Twenty’s Plenty areas in Angus which revealed that at a number of these sites, recorded speeds were above the 20mph recommended limit.
Residents are now being asked to their views on the proposals. Questionnaires have been delivered to houses in the affected streets and the survey is also available on the Have Your Say section of Angus Council’s web site at www.angus.gov.uk/hys.
