A favourite of Arbroath Sea Fest is taking centre stage as part of a special maritime exhibition in Hull.

The Spider T is on display until March at the Hull Maritime Museum as part of their ‘Living Historical Items’ collection.

A well-known vessel Spider T is the only remaining Super Sloop and was built in 1926 at Warren’s Shipyard on the South Bank. She sailed up the Thames as part of the flotilla for the Queen’s Jubilee and was visited Arbroath twice, once for a Sea Fest and most recently for the Year Of The Light celebrations.

Also in the collection is a recreation of Her Majesty’s Schooner Pickle.
