Spruce up your green fingers

Gardening talks
Gardening talks

Whether you are horticulturally challenged or green fingered and wanting to expand your knowledge, look no further than your local library this spring.

To complement our excellent range of gardening books, Angus libraries are hosting a series of FREE talks from local gardening experts between March and May.

The first talk is in Carnoustie Library on Monday (March 17) at 6.30 p.m. when Alex Graham, an eco- gardener, will give a talk about seed planting.

Alistair Gray, one of Scotland’s top exhibitors, will be in Brechin Library on Monday, March 31, at 6pm to talk about growing his exhibition vegetables.

Later in spring, you can get some tips on floral art in Montrose Library and learn about the botanists group in Forfar.

All talks are free and are open to both library members and non-members.

Please see your local library for details or follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/anguslibraries.
