Look out your sparkles and dust off those dancing shoes Arbroath, as a ‘Kaleidoscope of Dance’ by Strictly Come Dancing’s Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas is coming to town on June 9.
The pair, along with some energetic backing dancers have embarked on a massive 70 date tour around the UK and in true Strictly fashion the show at the Webster Memorial Theatre is jam packed full of glitter and glamour.
“It’s a must when it comes to Strictly,” Pasha told the Arbroath Herald.
Continuing around the UK, the tour is making a one stop shop in Arbroath but it is not the first time the Siberian born professional has been in Scotland.
“We can’t wait to come up to Scotland, you have amazing audiences there and we have a great time when we come.
“I love the audiences in Scotland, they don’t hold back. If you like it you let us know straight away and that’s how we like to dance. If an audience is screaming or crying or whatever emotion they have, we, as dancers, know straight away. That’s why I am so looking forward to getting back up north with this tour.”
The show is aimed at all ages and all categories of audience and Pasha is sure that there is something for everyone: “People often say ‘I’ve never seen Strictly’ or ‘I didn’t know what to expect’ and they come away wanting to watch, or even better wanting to start dancing or get back to dancing.”
Get your tickets and prove Pasha right that Scottish audiences are ‘the most vocal and better than anywhere else’. Tickets are £25 (exc. fees) available online www.webstertheatre.co.uk and at the Webster Theatre.
