THE FIRST meeting of the new session of Angus Federation of Housewives and Handicrafts (SWRI) will take place this weekend.
The new session will begin with an all-day cookery school in the BB Hall, Forfar, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 1.
Mrs Stella Siddall will demonstrate to members recipes for Christmas starters and desserts.
Participation is £4, and there will be a break for lunch from 12.30 p.m. until 1.45 p.m.
There will be a competition to find the best pair of Hallowe’en biscuits and home-made Hallowe’en mask.
