The next jazz concert at Hospitalfield in Arbroath will take place on Saturday, February 15 when two bands will be on the bill.
The Angus Youth Jazz Orchestra will open the concert and the main guests will be Brass Jaw.
This multi-award winning quartet works without the traditional rhythm section and comprises Ryan Quigley, trumpeter and sax players Konrad Wiszniewski, Paul Towndro and Allon Beauvoisin.
Alan Steadman, who runs the jazz events, said: “This is the second concert in our Scottish season and I’m delighted to give the local youth band the chance to play in a real jazz club environment.
“I hope that people will come along and support the jazz musicians of the future. I know they are excited about playing alongside what is arguably the country’s top band.
“Brass Jaw can always be relied on to give a high energy performance laced with both top musicianship and humour.”
Tickets cost £12 and can be reserved by phoning 01382 774648.
Everyone will be made most welcome.
