The organisers of a series of craft fayres in Arbroath have been bowled over by the response from both the public and artisans.

The third Bizarre Beach Bazaar will take place in the Community Centre on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Entry is free and there is live music and over 40 stalls showcasing crafted goods and is the work of Karen Hurst and her team of local artists and crafters.

Jill Henderson, spokesperson, said: “This is our third Bizarre Beach Bazaar in Arbroath and the amount of interest from both visitors and participants alike has been overwhelming! We’ve had to open up a waiting list for stalls.

“We think the events have an encouraging, friendly atmosphere due to the positive people involved and with the live music it gives an almost festival feel. There’s something for everyone with stalls from local makers, bakers, growers and artists so our visitors are spoiled for choice when it comes to finding something that bit special.”
