Recently at the Falklands memorial garden, Barry Buddon, the East of Scotland Royal Marines Association held their annual service of remembrance to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the ending of the Falklands conflict.

They gathered to honour the 13 men of 45 Commando Group RM who lost their lives during the battle for Two Sisters on June 11 and 12 1982.

Attending the service of remembrance were a number of former Royal Marines from the RMA as well as a contingent of serving Royal Marines from X Company 45 Commando RM. Also present this year were family members from two of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice; Sgt Bob Leeming and Mne John (Blue) Nowak.

During the act of remembrance, Royal Marines placed a single White Lily on each of the 13 named plaques, as each of the names were read out in turn.
