The East of Scotland branch of The Royal Marines Association held a small ceremony at Arbroath`s War Memorial to commemorate the end of fighting against Japan in the Pacific theatre of operations which brought to a close the Second World War. Royal Marine Nev Mundy laid the wreath at the War Memorial. Roddy Campbell was the Standard Bearer for The R.M.A. while Dougie Reid was the Royal British Legion Standard Bearer. Tom Hahn, a former pilot of the United States Air Force, was visiting relatives in Arbroath and joined the ceremony.
