As far as the eye could see there wasn’t a person standing still as Jools Holland’s infectious boogie woogie sound took hold of Montrose.
The piano maestro and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra kicked off the ninth annual Montrose Music Festival (MoFest) with an outdoor concert on the town’s East Links on Friday.
The popular pianist and his big band gave festival goers a musical feast for the ears as they belted through a two hour eclectic set of boogie-woogie, blues, jazz, rock n’ roll and ska tunes to 4000 revellers.
Our video shows Jools Holland himself getting the crowd fired up and a taster of a couple of the artists performing at the East Links.
