The Arbroath branch of the Cats Protection recently celebrated the work of their volunteers recently.

Certificates were presented at a special ceremony in the 36-0 Bar at Gayfield as part of the organisation’s Volunteer Champions scheme to recognise the hard work of the people who give up their own free time to help look after abandoned and mistreated cats.

Volunteer Margaret Miller said: “We are one of the top rehoming teams in the Cats Protection. When you consider how many branches there are in Great Britain to be among the top five is amazing.”

Based at Kinaldie Holdings, the Arbroath branch of the Cats Protection is always looking for additional volunteers, to help call 01241 434605.
