RENOWNED mountaineer and author Hamish Brown visited Carnoustie Public Library on Thursday evening as part of a series of talks by travel writers entitled ‘Itchy Feet’.
His love for the mountains is shown in a number of authoritative mountain guides he has written as well as books of poetry and short stories.
A native of Fife, Hamish now divides his time between home and Morocco where he leads expeditions in the Atlas mountains. He spoke about his trips to Morocco which proved to be the perfect antidote to a cold November evening.
Hamish is seated with staff and some of the audience who came along to the talk.
