THE CARNOUSTIE’S Got Talent competition could be under threat due to a lack of entrants.
The talent contest which is due to take place on February 1 and 2 in the Dibble Tree Theatre has suffered from a dearth of acts.
Organiser Betty Gibson said: “Right at this moment there’s only about eight applications. So obviously unless there’s a last minute rush we’ll have to make a decision on Monday whether we go ahead or not. I’m actually quite surprised, it’s the last thing we expected.”
The competition is open to absolutely everyone regardless of experience or type of act with a prize of £100 up for grabs.
Applications are available from The Fobel Shop and entry is £2, audience tickets are £4 per night or £6 for both nights. For more information contact Betty on 07845467654.
