World Book Day will be celebrated all over the country on Thursday (March 5) and Monifieth Library is joining in with the party.

Throughout the week, Monday to Saturday, children will be able to guess the number of pages in the mystery book. The competition is open during normal library hours and the child with the closest guess will win a book token.

On World Book Day itself, adult customers will be able to enter into a prize draw to win a signed Ann Cleeves book.

New book collections are arriving soon in Monifieth as they prepare to send on our True Crime and Behind the Lens collections, both of which proved popular, to other Angus Libraries.

In their place will be the Glamis Collection, Mm is for Mummy and Nordic Noir.
