Rehearsals were in full swing this week as the young farmers of Angus prepare to take to the stage this weekend for their annual cabaret.

The Angus Tayside District Association of Young Farmers Clubs Cabaret Competition will be held in the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath, tomorrow (Saturday).

All three Angus clubs will be taking part, Forfar and District JAC, Strathmore JAC and Brechin and District YFC.

Each club will fill 10 minutes with music, dance and humour for the chance to be crowned the district champion for 2015.

The evening is also complemented by supporting acts, this year they will be from Stirling, Strathendrick and Strathkelvin YFC; Aberdeen and Kincardine District of Young Farmers Clubs and also two performances from The LimeLight Company.

Curtains are up 7 p.m. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for under-16s and are available now from the Webster Memorial Theatre box office on 01241 435800 or at www.webstertheatre.co.uk.
