A CARNOUSTIE High School pupil marked Fairtrade Fortnight by organising a sponsored walk to raise money for the charity.

Caitlin Yool, the youngest member of the town’s Fairtrade committee carried out the walk from Carnoustie to Monifieth on Saturday with friends and hoped to make £250 for the charity.

The cash raised by Caitlin will also be added to the £122 she realised last week by holding a collection in the Co-op on Carnoustie High Street.
