FORFARSHIRE propelled themselves back to the top of the Clubsport/Dundee High School FP Indoor Sixes League with two remarkable victories at the Mayfield Sports Centre, Dundee, last Wednesday.
In their first match of the night, 'Shire trounced Kinloch by no fewer than 120 runs, then followed this with an almost equally impressive 63 run triumph over Norwood.

The Forthill men now head the table by four points from Rossie Priory and Dunde
e High School FP, all three having already qualified for finals night on March 24.

The one remaining place in the last four looks like going to Cupar, although Strathmore and Arbroath United still cannot be discounted. However, the indoor title hopes of both Kinloch and Norwood are now over for another year.

Results: Kinloch 37, Forfarshire 157; Norwood 75, Strathmore 124; Forfarshire 147, Norwood 84; Strathmore 88, Kinloch 92.

Wednesday's fixtures: 8 p.m. - Rossie Priory v Forfarshire; Cupar v Strathmore: 9 p.m. - Forfarshire v Strathmore; Rossie Priory v Cupar.

Forfarshire's second team, Forthill, will commence their 2010 outdoor league season with an away fixture against Strathmore on Saturday, May 1, while the third team, Forthill XI, start their campaign at home to Norwood on Sunday, May 2.
