TWO BARNHILL girls were among the medal winners in the first Scottish National Levels diving competition of the year at Olympia, Dundee, on Saturday.
Twelve-year-old Kathryn Neale took gold and her sister Kimberley (15) silver in the girls 12 to 18 years level one category.

Both girls attend Monifieth High School and are members of Dundee City Aquatics Diving.

Two other club members also struck gold at the event, Ross Duncan in the boys 12 to 18 years level one age group and Nathan Gevers in the boys 12 to 18 years novice level two class.

All four are coached at DCA Diving by Kay Neale of Barnhill.

The club meets at Olympia on Wednesday evenings from 8 to 9.30 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from 9 to 10.15 a.m. New members are always welcome.
