Carnoustie Ladies Darts League (sponsored by John Barr Cabs)

THERE was an entry of 17 for the weekly summer singles competition in the Dalhousie last Thursday, August 14.
Fiona Smith, Corner, was again the winner, defeating Jenny Henderson, Kinloch, in the final.

It was Fiona's third win out of six for the summer.

Thursday's fixture: Trident Trophy charity competition, at Craw's Nest, 7.45 p.m. sign-in for 8 p.m
. start. Entry fee £1.50.

Competition to be preceded by a captains' meeting at 7 p.m.

League fixtures commence on September 4.

Carnoustie Darts League

Iain Kinnear, 19TH, won this week's summer singles competition at the Corner on Monday night. Runner-up was Stan Smith, Corner. Next venue
Craw's Nest on Monday, 8 p.m. start.

The new league season will begin on September 15. Deadline for team registration will be the captains' meeting in the Golf Inn on Monday, September 8, at 7.30 p.m.

Broughty Ferry Darts League

Doc Ferry's, Occidental and defending champions Occidental A are the early pacesetters in the Steve Clenaghan Auto-Centre League.

Results - Steve Clenaghan Auto-Centre League - Crown 9, Vault A 3; Gunners 2, Occidental A 10; Vault B 10, Jolly's 2; Eagle 5, Doc Ferry's 7; Occidental 7, Spice 5.

Champions Cup qualifier from Vault was Ronnie Taylor.

Monday's fixtures - Steve Clenaghan Auto-Centre League - Doc Ferry's v Occidental; Spice v Vault B; Jolly's v Gunners; Occidental A v Vault; Vault A v Eagle; free week, Crown.
