FISH RISING AT CARLOGIE DAM

Rising temperatures as summer progresses mean the fish are rising well at Carlogie Dam.
Recent visitors included G. McNally who, on his first time ever fly fishing, successfully caught-and-returned two rainbow trout on C.D.C.s. His tutor Andy Brown estimated they weighed approximately two pounds eight ounces each. What a debut!

ait, Forfar, caught 16 fish on buzzers. He returned 11 and kept five for 13 pounds.

Stewart Falconer, Arbroath, caught 12 on buzzers and C.D.C.s, returning 10 and keeping two for three pounds eight ounces.
John Milne, Dundee, caught 10 on buzzers, returning eight and keeping two for five pounds.

Chris Couper, Dundee, caught four on C.D.C.s, returning two and keeping two for five pounds eight ounces.

L. Duffy, Dundee, caught and kept three for seven pounds eight ounces.
Dave Paul, Dundee, caught and kept three for seven pounds.
The top catch-and-release angler this week was George Woods, Montrose, with 20 fish returned, all caught on buzzers.

Colin Cameron, Dundee, and Dave Simpson, Forfar, both caught and returned 17 on buzzers.

Martin Roberts, Arbroath, caught and returned 16 on C.D.C.s, including an 11 pound two ounce rainbow.

Dave Mahoney, Dundee, caught and returned 13 on buzzers, Brian Longmuir, Arbroath, caught and returned 11 on C.D.C.s, Fraser Robertson, Forfar, caught and returned 10 on C.D.C.s, Bob Caird, Dundee, caught and returned 10 on dry flies, Steve Duncan, Dundee, caught and returned 10 on buzzers, Andy Brown, Edinburgh, caught and returned 10 on buzzers, Frank Ferrier, Arbroath, caught and returned nine on nomads, Dave Thoms, Carnoustie, caught and returned eight on C.D.C.s, and Derek Linton, Dundee, and George Nicoll, Carnoustie, both caught and returned seven on buzzers.
