Carnoustie Ladies Darts League (sponsored by John Barr Cabs)
Winners of the Gala Doubles competition at the Golf Inn on Thursday, were Agnes Grant and Shiona Torrie, All Stars. Elizabeth Penman, Kinloch, and Kirsten Lyon, Golf Inn, were the runners-up.
The evening raised £46 for Carnoustie Gala Committee.
Open singles competitions are to be held each week over the summer. The first has been arranged for the Corner on Thursday, July 9, with an 8 p.m. start. All female darts players welcome, experienced or beginner.
Broughty Ferry Darts League
Occidental and Vault both won again this week and remain joint top of the Steve Clenaghan Auto-Centre Summer League, two points ahead of Doc Ferry's.
Results: Steve Clenaghan Auto-Centre Summer League - Gunners 6, Anchor 3; Vault A 2, Occidental 7; Eagle 2, Vault 7; Royal 4, Doc Ferry's 5.
Monday's fixtures: Steve Clenaghan Auto-Centre Summer League - Occidental v Doc Ferry's; Vault v Anchor; Royal v Vault A; Eagle v Gunners.
The annual general meeting will be held in Jolly's on Sunday (July 5), at 2.30 p.m.
