GOOD FISHING AT CARLOGIE DAM

CARLOGIE Dam is fishing very well at present with some excellent catches coming off, and Buzzers and Nymphs taking the majority of the fish caught.
Six-year-old Callum Black, Carnoustie, hooked and landed a nice one pound eight ounce rainbow on his own rod.

Jim Tait, Forfar, had 10 for 30 pounds and two caught-and-released; J. Reid, Forfar, five for 13 pounds eight ounces and four caught-and-
released; Bob Harvey, Leuchars, five for 12 pounds and nine caught-and-released; N. Cargill, Montrose, five for 12 pounds and two caught-and-released; D. Bonzi, Forfar, five for 11 pounds and one caught-and-released; James Tait, Forfar, four for 10 pounds; Colin Tait, Forfar, four for nine pounds eight ounces and 13 caught-and-released; George Beat, Dundee, three for 15 pounds, the largest weighing-in at 10 pounds 12 ounces; Mike Johnston, Arbroath, three for nine pounds eight ounces and 13 caught-and-released; Drew Johnston, Arbroath, three for seven pounds eight ounces and four caught-and-released; Derick Birse, Forfar, three for seven pounds and 11 caught-and-released; G. Murray, Dundee, two for 12 pounds, including a nine pound rainbow; Keith Richardi, Dundee, two for seven pounds and seven caught-and-released; and Doug Thain, Arbroath, two for seven pounds and two caught-and-released.

Dave Thoms, Carnoustie, was this week's most successful local angler on catch-and-release with 12 returned; Matt Lammin, Frank Ferrier and Martin Roberts, all Arbroath, put back 10, nine and seven respectively.
The Bob Wallace Trophy is to be fished this Sunday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
